Deba Knife – Aogami Steel – Wenge Wood Handle (165mm / 6.5" or 180mm / 7.1")

Heavy-Duty Precision for Fish and Protein Prep

Engineered for power and finesse, this Japanese deba knife delivers clean cuts and confident control in both home and professional kitchens.

The blade is hand-forged from Aogami (Blue Paper Steel), known for its hardness, edge retention, and ability to produce razor-sharp finishes. Its thick spine and single-bevel edge are designed for processing whole fish — slicing through bone, skin, and flesh with minimal effort.

Available in two sizes: 165mm (6.5") and 180mm (7.1"), and finished with a wenge wood handle — a dense, dark hardwood prized for its weight and moisture resistance. Its smooth contour and rich grain complement the blade's strength.
